Flowers for Grandparents’ Day in Mexico

Mexico · Nationwide

In Mexico Grandparents’ Day is celebrated every 28 August. For a family visit, we suggest dahlias if they like flowers with volume. Choose the bouquet around where they will receive it and include a note recalling something you shared.

Guide to adding Agenda Floral to Apple and Google Calendar

Apple or Google decide when to check for updates. We cannot guarantee that changes appear immediately. Importing the file gives you a copy that does not receive our future corrections. Importing again may duplicate events. We do not add alarms, although your calendar may apply its own alerts.

Choosing dahlias for their shape

Ask for rounded dahlias to make their volume stand out. There are different forms and sizes, so a reference for the particular flower helps explain the appearance you want. Gerberas offer another open shape and alstroemerias a different distribution of flowers in the bouquet.

Start with their favourite colours and where they would like to display it. A bouquet with a container is ready to place on arrival; if they have a vase they want to use, its measurements will help tailor the order.

The visit and the delivery address

If you will be together at their home on 28 August, collect the bouquet on the way and give it during your visit. When they spend the day with another part of the family, that address can be your meeting and delivery point.

Decide whether the flowers will go home with them afterwards or whether you would rather send them to their home later. For a journey between homes, include the container and wrapping when considering how much space they will take up.

Two grandchildren’s bouquet with individual notes

An order example: “We would like a dahlia bouquet for our grandmother on 28 August. We will take it to the family meal and she will take it home afterwards. We need room to attach two cards without hiding the flowers.”

Each note can recall a different scene. For example: “Grandma, I remember that afternoon making your rice recipe together. Lucía.” And “Thank you for coming to my first match and staying for a snack afterwards. Mateo.” Replace these memories with your own.
