Flowers for Doctors’ Day in Mexico

Mexico · Nationwide

In Mexico Doctors’ Day is celebrated every 23 October. For a friend or relative who is a doctor, choose lisianthus in lavender shades and give it during a personal get-together. The gift follows their taste and your relationship. To thank someone for medical care, use the facility’s channels.

Flowers for a relative or a friend

If she likes lavender shades, use them as a reference for a lisianthus bouquet. Their soft shapes are our suggestion for this celebration. Gerberas offer an open flower and carnations a different texture with ruffled petals.

Consider where you will meet and where she will put the flowers afterwards. For a family afternoon tea, take a bouquet suited to her vase. If it includes a container, its overall width and height help you plan how to carry it.

An order and a card for your celebration

You could ask: “I would like lisianthus in lavender shades for my aunt on 23 October. We are meeting for afternoon tea and I will bring the bouquet. She has a narrow-necked vase, so I need a size that fits.” Add the vase measurements.

A card could say: “Aunt Marta, happy Doctors’ Day. This time I’m bringing the flowers for our afternoon tea. Love, Isabel.” Change the name and plan to make the message yours. If you meet on another day, the flowers can accompany that get-together.

If you want to give thanks as a patient

Staff at IMSS and other federal public administration entities must reject gifts connected to their post. To thank someone for care in that setting, choose a written message through the facility’s institutional channel.

For other facilities, use their contact channels to find out how to send thanks and which gift conditions apply. A clinic or hospital reception desk does not itself confirm that a bouquet can be accepted.
