How we create the Agenda Floral guides
Agenda Floral · Editorial selection · Reviewed
Agenda Floral is an editorial selection about giving flowers in Spain. We distinguish documented dates and customs from our own gift suggestions, link to the sources used and show when each article was reviewed. Flower images are AI-generated representations.

What this library covers
Flower profiles explain what a flower can bring to a gift. Occasion guides cover Spanish dates and their geographical scope. Practical guides help you choose, care for and deliver flowers. We do not sell bouquets or present our suggestions as rules you must follow.
The selection does not cover every species or festival. A local celebration is not presented as nationwide; an occasion’s geographical scope does not establish whether it is a public holiday.
What each source supports
For dates and celebrations, we consult institutions, local authorities and organisers. For plant characteristics, we use botanical and horticultural references such as RHS and NC State Extension. Each article explains what its source links support.
A commercial source can show that a flower is offered for sale. On its own, it does not prove that the flower is the most popular gift, a local tradition or available throughout the year. Our own suggestions are identified as editorial choices.
Choosing without turning meanings into rules
Our suggestions consider the recipient’s taste, the context and delivery conditions. We do not assign a universal message to a colour or number of stems. Customs can differ between places and people.
General care advice does not replace the florist’s instructions for a particular bouquet. For pets, allergies or other needs, check the exact species and relevant specialist sources; an illustration cannot establish safety.
What the images show
Catalogue images are generated with AI for a consistent presentation. They are illustrative: they are not photographs of bouquets for sale, do not guarantee a particular cultivar and must not be used to identify plants.
The colour, shape and size of a real flower can vary. When buying, check the photographs and product information provided by your florist.
Reviews, languages and corrections
The review date records an editorial review of the article; it does not change simply because the website is published again. Spanish and English versions cover the same subject and link to each other. We keep page addresses when improving their content.
Authorship is identified as Agenda Floral. We do not present these guides as having been reviewed by an accredited medical, veterinary or botanical team. To report an incorrect date, scope or fact, use Support and include the page, the detail and a source if you have one.
Frequently asked questions
Are these flower suggestions compulsory for each celebration?
No. A documented custom and a gift suggestion are different. We explain sourced customs and offer alternatives suited to the context.
Can I use the images to identify a plant?
No. They are AI-generated representations and can differ from real plants. Use a specialist source for botanical identification.
Sources and what they support
- Royal Horticultural Society · Plants
A horticultural resource for checking plant information. It does not endorse Agenda Floral’s gifting suggestions.
- NC State Extension · Plant Toolbox
A botanical reference used in the catalogue. Information about one species should not automatically be applied to others.
How we put these guides together
We check dates and customs against institutional sources, and botanical information against horticultural sources. Gift suggestions consider a flower’s appearance and the recipient’s taste. Commercial references document an offer, not popularity or a tradition. This initial catalogue is a growing editorial selection, not a list of every species.
