FLORA Córdoba: when to see the installations and what to book
To see the finished FLORA Córdoba installations in 2026 choose the exhibition days of 16–21 October. For set-up check a booked guided visit on the 13th, 14th or 15th. Guerrilla FLORA has its own date on the 22nd. Review each activity’s page before planning your route. The full 12–22 programme does not mean every work can be visited throughout those eleven days.

Choose dates according to what you want to see
FLORA takes place in Córdoba, Andalusia. For 2026 the organiser announces 12–22 October. Set-up runs from the 12th to the 15th and the competition installations are exhibited from the 16th to the 21st. Guerrilla FLORA has its own date on the 22nd. To see finished works plan within the exhibition days.
Activities and FLORA OFF projects have individual dates. Arriving on the 12th therefore does not mean every competition work is finished. Nor should you leave that visit until the 22nd assuming everything remains open. For another edition check its programme before booking travel.
A morning to see the finished installations
The 2026 practical information gives installation visiting hours of 11am–8pm during the exhibition. Participating sites include the Provincial Council of Córdoba and Palacio de Orive. Check the map and each stop’s access before arranging your route. Entering an installation does not establish entry to the rest of the building.
For example if you can visit on the morning of 17 October choose two installations from the map and save another as an extension. Put the one you most want to see first and allow time to travel between stops and enter. If you need to finish by 2pm use that limit to shorten the plan. You do not have to commit to visiting every site in one morning.
Set-up tours need their own booking
To learn about the creative process look at guided set-up tours. The 2026 page announces slots on 13, 14 and 15 October at noon and 6pm, departing from Palacio de la Merced. They are free with booking subject to capacity. Use the organiser’s link and check the slot before arranging your arrival.
Guided exhibition visits run from the 16th to the 21st and have different slots. Some start before 11am. Those times belong to the booked tour and do not establish that every courtyard opens early for independent visits. Confirm the meeting point and conditions for the visit you have chosen.
Each activity has its own conditions
The festival announces free access except for specified activities and some need registration. Its calendar helps distinguish them. For a workshop check its page, date, intended audience and booking. Free entry to an installation does not mean you can join every activity at that site.
Impronta fugaz is an example of FLORA OFF with a different duration. Its page announces free entry at Viana Palace on 12–22 October from 11am to 8pm. You can check that project if travelling before the competition exhibition. Do not apply its dates to all other works or its entry to the entire palace.
The access you need is part of your route
The 2026 practical information describes ramps and inclined platforms for entering participating courtyards. Before combining sites check each installation’s entrance and the assistance you need to reach it. Do not use the May Courtyards Competition’s ramps as your reference. These are different programmes with their own conditions.
For sign language interpretation the organiser explains how to enquire for activities marked with its icon. Request it through the stated channel and confirm the specific activity. An announced measure does not establish availability at every slot without coordination. Keep an alternative if access or timing does not suit your needs.
Guerrilla FLORA and collecting material
The Guerrilla FLORA + Sadeco page announces free entry on 22 October from 4 to 7pm at Jardines del Huerto de Orive. Installations are made there with material reused from the festival. This is a separate plan from viewing competition works during their exhibition.
The organiser also describes later collection of flowers and plants, with times announced on its social media. The 4–7pm period is the announced visiting time rather than a confirmed collection time. Check that announcement before going for collection and do not remove flowers from a work yourself. If you receive material ask what it is and how to carry it; the transport guide can help with cut flowers without applying its steps to every plant.
Frequently asked questions
When can I see the FLORA installations?
The 2026 competition works are announced for exhibition on 16–21 October from 11am to 8pm. Other activities have their own dates and hours. Check the page for the plan that interests you.
Can I visit set-up independently?
The guided-tour page announces booked slots for 13, 14 and 15 October 2026. Check confirmation and the departure point. Do not infer independent access to every working area from those tours.
Is all of FLORA free without booking?
No. The organiser gives free access except for specified activities and some require registration. Guided visits are free with booking subject to capacity. Check each activity’s conditions without assuming a place is available.
Is FLORA the May Courtyards Competition?
They are different programmes in Córdoba. FLORA presents floral art installations and activities in October. The Courtyards Competition has its own announcement and conditions. The courtyards guide explains what to check for that visit.
When can I collect flowers from Guerrilla FLORA?
The 2026 page announces collection through the organiser’s social media after the installations. It does not set that time within the 4–7pm visiting period. Check the announcement before going and do not assume material will be available.

How we put these guides together
We consult institutional sources to check dates and customs. For plant facts, we use horticultural sources. Our gift ideas start with each flower’s appearance and the recipient’s taste. A shop link documents a particular offer. It does not prove that a flower is popular or part of a tradition. We keep adding to this selection rather than claiming to cover every species.
